The Myers Mixers 800 Series disperser is ideally suited to low-viscosity products such as paints, pigment tints, and general shear mixing applications. For low-viscosity applications such as paints, a general rule of thumb is 1-HP per 10-gallons of material being mixed. For higher viscosity products the volume-to-horsepower ratio is reduced to account for the thicker product and provide adequate batch turnover.
